You should be fine, no popups or anything. No website is 100% secure, but that shouldn’t be a problem for you.

very few anime sites are bad, popups are pretty normal even with great blockers.
However, anilinks is not the best site, mainly because of the quality and sometimes the videos are cut off while you are watching them.
if you’re still a bit paranoid head over to Crunchy Roll and Anime Crazy, they’re top notch sites with over a hundred anime and movie options (you’ll still get a popup lol)
He didn’t mess with my computer, but the chat is pretty annoying. Luckily, you can use clock mode.
