I have a job at McDonalds and I’m looking to quit. Does anyone know how much notice I have to give to leave?
If you’ve worked there less than 3 months you don’t need to notify them, if more than 3 months you need to notify them 2 weeks, but again this is McDonalds we’re talking about, they’re used to people leave without notice.
You don’t have to give any, but you must give 1-2 weeks in writing. No matter how insignificant the job may seem, you want to leave the best possible impression on your former employers. You never know when you’ll meet them again…or if you’ll ever have to crawl back.
I worked at McD for a few years in high school and one of my former managers quit three times and might come back for a fourth round of jobs. It’s not your dream job, but it’s good to know it’s available.
The appropriate leave notice is 2 weeks. But you can ask your boss. I know of places where they accept a week’s notice. To be safe, you need to get your job back. Give them 2 weeks notice. Good luck in your new job…
Technically, you have nothing to say. The notice is a courtesy to your employer. HOWEVER, if you want a good recommendation from your manager to help you find another job, you must give at least one week’s notice, but the standard is two weeks.
You don’t have to give notice, but the general rule is to give two weeks. Who knows, you might want to go back to work there one day.

Most companies require you to give two weeks notice so they have enough time to quickly fill your vacancy.
It’s the best way to leave a company if you don’t want to leave under negative conditions. This is especially important to keep in mind if you need a recommendation for another job.

I believe that no matter where you work, you should calculate your 2 weeks notice. Not less than a week in advance.
Appropriate notice would be 2 weeks. If they don’t want you to stay that long, they’ll let you know.
At least two weeks if you have to go back.
Two weeks is the default.
