I’m interested in downloading custom zombie maps for COD WaW, and I heard ZomMods is a great site for that. However, I am afraid to use it. I need to know if A) The site is secure. Viruses are very bad. B) If the cards are real, not just broken files with malware/trojans attached. and C) if my steam account will be suspended/banned. I don’t intend to hack, I’m just installing custom maps, but I don’t know if that’s going to screw me up.

Most files are safe, like Five Nights at Freddy’s. however, that said, there are a few that you may encounter with “minor” viruses. These viruses that you come across may do little harm and at most slow down your computer a bit. Even if you come across one that has a bit of a virus in it, you can use a good antivirus scan like avast, and avast can do what most antivirus can’t, which is deal with the problem without removing the file. I have encountered a few viruses from time to time with the site, but none of the files are full of “broken files with malware/trojans attached”. And no, you cannot get your Steam account banned or suspended. Nothing bad like that. My suggestion is to get avast and download any sitemap, then scan it when finished, and if it has a virus, let avast fix it, then enjoy your map. Also, allow avast to protect your browser, and in the free version (which is all you need), accept whatever it offers, like the google chrome extension if you use it, and allow it to always check the background, which means if you come across something really bad (that you won’t find on the website), it will detect, report and fix the problem. one of the best protections you can get, and only the super major ones (like the black screen virus, the only super major virus I’ve had in my life that forced me to reset it to default settings) ‘factory to fix it) can defeat it, and it has to be a super powerful virus to do that.
