Where can I find a smoke pencil or a smoke stick. It is an electronic or chemical puffer device.?

Home energy assessors and energy auditors and HVAC guys use smoke sticks or smoke pencil blowers to find drafts in homes and in HVAC vents. I want to use one in my house to locate bad caulking and windows that need to be replaced.

Jerry, you’re right, it’s called a smoke pencil and some HVAC guys call it a smoke blower. You can buy a cheap one online for around $25. Here is a link to a www.chimneyballoon.us/smokepencilstick.html
This one is electronic, but some are chemical.
I think the smoke is a mixture of water and glycol that smells a bit sweet but doesn’t linger like incense or cigarettes.

Electronic cigarettes (as well as lozenges, patches and gum) do not break the addiction to nicotine, which is very powerful. They are also expensive. In my opinion, you need to quit cold turkey like I did, rather than prolonging the process with other items that provide nicotine. A few things that helped me: 1. Without initially intending to quit, I had about halved my usual cigarette intake for about three weeks, due to a minor medical issue that I thought was smoking could worsen. The fact that I did it easier than expected made me decide to give up completely. However, since I had reduced my nicotine addiction somewhat in those three weeks, it probably made cold turkey easier than it otherwise would have been. 2. Tic tac mint tablets. I talked about them for over a year, many of them every day. They involve less than two calories per mint, so they can also help you avoid nicotine substitution. I didn’t gain a pound, and I think I owe it to the tic tacs. 3. Suck and chew on a plastic straw. I kept straws everywhere. As another poster suggests, drinking water through a straw can also be helpful. 4. When I told my doctor I was going to try quitting, she offered me about two weeks of Xanax to get me over the initial bump. I accepted that offer, but ended up not accepting it very much. What was most helpful was just knowing that Xanax was there if I needed it. This very fact, I think, kept me from being so anxious that I really needed to be. I’m wary of other drugs that claim to help you quit – some are just antidepressants by another name and come with really annoying side effects – but something specific for anxiety can really help. 5. Exercise daily. I took long brisk walks every day. You may find another form of exercise more enjoyable. I quit after smoking very seriously for over 30 years, and I’m still surprised to be a non-smoker now. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can do it. Keep in mind that the craving for nicotine will still be there, but will decrease dramatically after a while. (It took me about a year to start feeling that not smoking was normal, so the cravings became a much smaller background noise.) You CAN do it. I promise.

Electronic cigarettes look like real tobacco cigarettes, making them comfortable and easy to use for any smoker. The non-flammable electronic cigarette is powered by modern microelectronic technology; a small rechargeable battery and a unique replaceable cartridge containing nicotine or a nicotine-free e-liquid formula. The variety of flavors on offer have been carefully selected by a panel of supreme tasters to ensure that the e-cigarette puff as well as the taste is an absolute pleasure to savor. The Shisha series brings new flavors such as Caramel Mocha Latte, Pineapple and Strawberry, which means the eCigarette also helps banish sweet cravings.

Cigarettes and incense sticks are not as heavy as the pufferfish we use and are hard to see. You are right to avoid them.
