Sobelex is a coined name for a narcotic or opioid pain reliever. He doesn’t exist in the real world, but I don’t know why they didn’t just use the name of a real one. Before picking it up, she grimaced and referred to the arm where she had been shot. A few episodes ago, Birkhoff offered her some after being shot and she refused because she was a forced drug addict before being saved by Nikita. I think her situation with Sean makes it harder for her to deal with the pain, so she wandered off. Note that she took one right after he left Division and right after she called and he didn’t pick up.
As for the mole, I think it’s Sonya. She was the head technician when Amanda was in charge of the division, and suddenly she’s interested in having dinner with Birkhoff while he works on this new project. He too looked at her suspiciously. I can’t think of any other main character this could be.
It kills the pain, but it’s not really about acting like it kills.
