The electric field in an aluminum wire is 0.085 V/m. What is the current density in the wire?

For those who still need 2mm x 2mm wire with 0.085V/m

Equation:

I = EA/R

Who does it come from? V=EA; I = V/R and replacing V.

Data :

A = (2*10^-3) * (2*10^-3) = 4*10^-6 points^2

E = 8.5*10^-2V/m

R_of aluminum = 2.8*10^-8

Just plug everything in and you’re good to go.
