Hi friend,
Here is your answer.
13) The line graph of some interceptions is shown below.

Equation of the slope of the line, y = m*x + b
for the abscissa at the origin (-2.0),
>> 0 = m*(-2) + b
>> -b = -2m
cancel negative sign,
>> b = 2m ….eqn. (1)
to intercept there (0,2)
>> 2 = m*0 + b
>> b = 2 ….eq. (of them)
Put the value of b=2 in the 2nd equation,
>> 2 = 2m
>> m = 1
So the slope (m) is 1.
the y-intercept is equal to ‘b’, so the y-intercept will be equal to 2
as in the 2nd equation.
14) The line graph of some interceptions is shown below.

Equation of the slope of the straight line, y = m*x + b where, m is the
slope of the line.
for the y-intercept x(3,0),
>> 0 = m*(3) + b
>> -b = 3m
>> b = -3m ….eqn. (1)
to intercept there (0,-2)
>> -2 = m*0 + b
>> b = -2 ….eq. (of them)
Put the value of b = -2 in the 2nd equation,
>> -2 = 2m
>> m = -1
So the slope (m) is -1.
the y-intercept is equal to ‘b’, so the y-intercept will be equal to -2
as in the 2nd equation.
I hope this will help you. Please leave your precious
come back.
Thanks.
