Old Navy Orientation? –

I have an orientation next Wednesday and wanted to know exactly what I’m going to do, how long it will take and what I should wear.

(1) you can wear anything you would normally wear if you were dressed for work (nothing with other brands).
(2) During orientation, a manager will review policies with you, such as: dress code, employee discount, code of business conduct, harassment policy, safety policies and emergency, etc.
(3) You fill out a bunch of forms – tax and other forms, and put your signature on a bunch of stuff – company policies, etc.
(4) You will watch videos – about the business, shoplifting, shipping processing, Old Navy maps, etc.
(5) you may or may not visit the store and explain the different areas of the store
(6) meet other managers and employees
(7) you generally do NOT receive registration training during orientation
(8) I don’t know how long this will last – it will be at least a few hours. It depends on the thoroughness of the managers and how quickly they go through the material. call and ask how long you think it will last if you plan to be somewhere afterwards.
(9) you get paid for advice.
