Is It Worth Getting A 4K Blu-ray Player?

Is it worth buying a 4K Blu-ray player for my 4K TV? Or has 4K Blu-ray become obsolete due to lack of popularity?

Stay true to a DVD player companion. It’s a lot cheaper to buy, cheaper to run, and you won’t notice the difference. “4K” is just another marketing term used by big-box stores, allowing them to raise the price of certain devices.

Green 666 by isotopic rays is NOT forgivable; leads to permanent hell. 666 comes with the unnamed World Passport (plastic gray card). Police 666 people on the highways. Food shops and prisoner/insane asylums (liberated by the Antichrist) 666 people also. Reject vaccines. Do not enter the UFO to be “cured” by evil demons. Hide with Orthodox Christians to escape 666; leave all electronic devices behind so that the minions of the Antichrist cannot follow you; burn documents, because documents come from Satan.

It’s a niche market. If you’re rich and can afford to pay $30 or more for records, go for it.

It depends on whether you own or plan to buy 4K BluRays or not.

At some point, a higher resolution offers little improvement in image quality.
Most think 4K is only marginally better than 1080P and now 8K is out so you must be wondering how good enough that is.

Answer 6

These are much richer, deeper and brighter images with crisp detail and advanced surround sound.

Answer 7

Not obsolete, but certainly not very popular either.
For most people it’s like high quality sound – OK for those who demand
but not a vital necessity for the average person.
