How to tell upset clientele about gratuity (tip)already added to their bill?

They don’t take it personally, they just don’t like spending more money than expected… What you need to do is tell them when booking that a tip will be added to the bill.

If anyone is upset, just tell them that their bosses felt that servers weren’t getting enough tips for large groups and that this is NOT common practice for large tables. If the customer is really upset, just refer them to their manager.
