I bought a bag full of about 100 fun sized Laffy Taffy candies and almost every one I open is stuck in the wrapper from the inside! I can’t even open it it’s so stuck! Does anyone have a solution for this problem? lol
How to make Laffy Taffy
Refrigerate or try to take it out of the packaging as soon as possible. The slower you go, the weaker it will be. We all knew oobleck in high school. Laffy Taffies has rules similar to this.

Put in the fridge! I promise it works because I tried it yesterday, let it sit overnight and today there was absolutely nothing!
Haha over 2 years later, but what I do is put them in the freezer for a bit and they’ll be fine, but don’t leave them too long. A few minutes is probably enough and can be a little tough, but as they warm up in your mouth they become softer and return to normal.

It’s a shame. mdr I have the same problem, that’s how I found your question. I wish I had an answer, but the person above me gave a great answer. I think that’s just what comes with “taffy” and what is expected. :/

If I find myself in this dilemma, I usually try to open it as best I can and scrape off the caramel with my teeth. It also works great for cutting the piece of candy in half with a pair of scissors so the opening is clean and you can remove the wrapper more easily.
