Very true. Especially for Indians! Demanding but not expensive! They come to big parties and have so many waiters and waitresses serving but still tipping badly! With Hispanics and Blacks, they tend to complain and want a discount or a free meal, and little or no tip. It really pisses me off. I don’t know about Asians because the restaurant I worked in didn’t have many Asian customers. Among white people, it seems that older people tip less. Seriously, I hated being a waitress because people can be so mean sometimes. I will never give any of my servers a job (unless they really deserve it) based on what I’ve learned as a waitress.

Navel oranges were on sale today at your local grocery store for $4.59 for 2 dozen. They had heaps of them.
Last week I made a nice purchase of 10 pounds of pearl onions for 0.99 cents. What I don’t use, I cut up and freeze. I will be going through a lot by New Years Day.

It depends on where you live, where the oranges come from, what type they are, and the season you buy them. They will be cheaper in California and Florida where they are grown, cheaper at a fruit stand than at a grocery store. And during the winter in northern states, they will be more expensive as long as they are ripe where they are grown. During the summer they would be more expensive as they are imported from other countries. For me they are free because we have some in our own backyard.
