OKAY:
Product – the number you get when you multiply two things together. ex. 3×3= 9. New is the product.
Exponential Notation – It’s just a different way of writing the number. For example, you can say 3^2 (which is the same as 3 with a little 2 in the corner). It always means 9, because it’s 3×3
So on your card. You have 36. What number multiplied by itself is 36?
(Hint: try this…)
1×1=1
2×2=4
3×3=9
etc
Any number multiplied by itself is 36, that’s its root, so that number squared is your answer.
