FCOM SuperPack v6 (Oblivion mod)?

This is the main forum topic if you don’t know http://superpackden.mastertopforum.net/viewtopic.p…

It is a popular mod. It is a kind of compilation of various mods. I think you will be happy with it.
I haven’t used it myself, as I tend to keep my mods separate and only choose the ones I really like or have a particular use for. I also often create my own mods to match exactly what I want.
FCOM is stable and well documented, so I don’t think you can really go wrong.

Forget Fcom

This is my review of FCOM Superpack version 5.3.0. (Version 6 just released)
NOTE: I installed QTP3 before installing FCOM Superpack, but didn’t change anything else.
Ease of installation: 10/10!!! Properly installing over 126 mods with just one click is amazing!!! I wish there were more easy to install Superpacks like this.
Graphics: 7.5/10 with QTP3 installed. Danwood made a concerted effort to ensure the game ran well on a mid-range machine. 10/10 is possible if you have the materials and the time.
Stability: 9/10 – That’s why you should download the FCOM Superpack. Without Superpack, only hardcore veterans would be able to play such a heavily modified Oblivion with this level of stability.
Gameplay: 8/10 – Over 126 mods and many custom settings have been combined to dramatically improve Vanilla Oblivion.
FCOM is no pushover, and Danwood’s Superpack default settings can be called “hardcore realism.” (he plans to release a patch option that would make certain elements of the game less hardcore)
Eating, drinking and sleeping are necessary and a great addition! The pacing is seamlessly slowed down and all visual indicators of requirements have been removed so that requirements aren’t intrusive but welcome distractions that add immersion.
Dungeons are much darker than Vanilla! It’s more fun and realistic this way, but I find myself wishing my torch would light up even more. I can try adding “Brighter Drop Lit Torch”, but I’ll wait a bit longer and see if I get used to it.
Combat – Opponents are TOUGH! I love that the world isn’t sized to be easy for me. You’ll often have to flee from encounters early on, and you’ll want to stay close to main roads for protection. I love the “Cry for help!” button. (I needed it several times). At first, if you find someone in a dungeon wearing heavy armor, they’ll probably get kicked in the ass. To be honest, I think the games start off a little too weak and shaky, but I should get stronger over time.
Compass and maps – In version 5.3.0 there is no compass and the big map is empty. There are no “You are here” arrows or quest markers to show you where to go. They were omitted for the sake of realism, but I liked having them, so I put them back. Players can easily change the settings by following the instructions in the link below:

Price – I like magic items to be rare and very expensive. FCOM improves realism, but the Danwood Superpack can be called “hardcore realism”. Personally, I felt like traders were taking me for a ride with the economy settings of version 5.3.0, so I changed my settings to get better prices and buy things a little cheaper. If you prefer a game like Doom or Quake where you can easily kill hordes of creatures, this isn’t the mod for you. But if you like realism in a game where every encounter is a life or death proposition, I recommend installing Superpack FCOM. The modders have done a great job improving the mod selection and configuration options for Oblivion and Danwood, providing a very fun and stable gameplay experience with minimal fuss and confusion.
