My son goes and gets some ladybugs and puts them in his bug cage and all of a sudden he gets a rash on his cheeks, I think it’s the ladybugs he’s touching.

I don’t think it’s ᴘᴇᴇ he may just be having an allergic reaction to the bug itself or some of the outside allergens could be bound to the bug like pollen and causing it to burst into the rash.
I don’t remember any Ladybug ᴘᴇᴇ on me. I’m 12 and I’ve never gotten wet after touching a ladybug.

They go PӨӨP and ᴘᴇᴇ on you and it’s very smelly and sour. Ladybugs form colonies and PӨӨP stays on all things and looks and smells like PӨӨP flying. And did you know that ladybugs can bite??? I’m not talking about urine burn, I’m talking about actual stings. I watched a show about them on the Discovery Channel. Unbelievable. The bites may look like a rash.
Ummm… when I was a little kid, I used to catch a ladybug and find yellow liquid on my hands. I think it was Lady Bug ᴘᴇᴇ, but I think that’s what caused her reaction. I hope this helps you
