Can I Use Antibacterial Soap To Clean My Double Earlobe Piercings ?

So I really have nothing at the moment to clean my new piercings, can I use water and aq tip antibacterial soap? the antibacterial soap i have is cetaphil and i need to twist the earring? cause irritation if you twist

You can, but it won’t really help your ears heal.
The body already knows how to heal, putting on soap will only interfere with what the body already knows how to do, causing irritation and delaying the healing process.
Go to the pharmacy and buy a sterile saline wound wash spray. It should be close to the bandages. The only ingredients should be sodium chloride and water. Simply spray the front and back of the piercing morning and night. That’s it. If there is a scab or buildup, you can spray the piercings with a sterile gauze pad and gently remove the softened scab after soaking.

You can use any soap and water, although mild, unscented soap is a good idea. Lather, slip on, count to 30, rinse. Removing any softened scab with the cotton swab after a hot shower is a good idea if you can’t do a hot saline bath just yet.
Do not twist, twist, turn or basically touch for any reason. Keep your dirty paws away from your healing piercings.
