Anthracene chemistry question! Please help me!?

I know that anthracene has 26 σ bonds and 7 π bonds. But I don’t know how to find how many valence electrons occupy σ-bonded orbitals and π-bonded orbitals. An explanation and an answer would be welcome! Thanks.

Each sigma bond orbital will contain 2 electrons. Each pi bond orbital will also contain 2 electrons. This gives a total of 66 valence electrons.
This makes sense because the formula for anthracene is C14H10. Each C has 4 valence electrons and each H has 1, for a total of 66 valence electrons.
