Where Is The AUX Input On My 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500?

It has a button for AUX, but I can’t find where to connect my AUX cable to my iPod. Please help me!

You can add the auxiliary input to almost any Chevrolet Silverado, but your radio must have a BAND button.

I have to agree with the previous post that the AUX option on this vehicle is for the optional disc changer. I also recommend contacting the dealership. They may be able to help you further. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thanks.

They only came out with the jack on the front in 2007. The Aux input on yours is on the back, but it’s not a 3.5mm jack. It’s there for the optional disc changer they had.
As for connecting an iPod, go to a car stereo store and see what kind of inputs they have for you. They might have something designed to work with your stereo unit, but I’m not sure. If not, I’m sure they’ll have something for you.
