Wild Growlithe can be found in the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island in red and yellow, as well as routes 7 and 8 in red. Gold owners will find Growlithe on routes 7, 8, 36 and 37, while Crystal players should look on routes 8, 35, 36 and 37. Unfortunately for trainers who play Blue and Silver, Growlithe is not available on neither of these two .versions.
