B, average grade scale = 100, this one = 200, divide by 2 to get 100, divide 177.5 by 2 to get 88.75, so close to an A but definitely a B

Whenever you need to know a grade, here’s how to calculate it:
Divide your points by the possible total:
in this case 177.5 divided by 200 = 88.75 which rounds up to 89%
so on a test or an assignment it’s worth 20 points, and you have 18
divide 18 by 20 and you get 90%
As for the lyrical note, it depends on what your teacher or school uses. Typically, notes work as follows:
90-100%A, 80-89%B, 70-79%C, 60-69%D, 0-59%F
however, there is a trend towards higher percentages, i.e. 95% and higher for A, 85% and higher B, 75% and higher C
CHECK with your student manual or ask the school.
