What does “Oh to be young, and to feel love’s keen sting” mean?

I was watching “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, and I loved the scene in the infirmary, but I didn’t quite understand what the following sentence meant: “Oh, to be young and to feel the sting sharpness of love”. Thanks (:

Love it when your teenager is a bit like fire. Fun to play with, but use it the wrong way and you’ll get burned.

This means that when you are young and inexperienced, many things first come to you as a shock. Such shocks can be unnerving, but they sharpen the senses. Maybe the person who said this has been through this many times and regrets the indifference of the “I’ve been there, I’ve done it” feeling.
I’m just guessing. I’m a little too old for Harry Potter.
