MATH!! 4(3-x)^4/3 -5 = 59?

Please show the steps!!!!!!!!

Answer 1

4(3-x)^4/3 -5 = 59…….add 5 to both sides
4(3 – x)4/3 = 64……….divide everything by 4
(3 – x)4/3 = 16……….square root on both sides
(3 – x)2/3 = 4……….square roots on both sides
³√(3 – x) = 2………..cube on both sides
(3 – x) = 8
x = -5…………..answer

answer 2

Well, I’m a bit confused, because I don’t know if (3-x) is for fourth or four thirds, but here goes

4(3-x)^4/3 -5 = 59

4(3-x)^4/3 = 64

(3-x)^4/3 = 16

(3-x)^4/3 = (8)^(4/3)

(3-x) = 8 (the exponents cancel out because they are the same)

-x=5

x=5
