It’s a comedic pun. The reindeer in this photo should represent Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer. in the song [Rudolf the Red-nose Reindeer,] at the end, after Santa Claus asks Rudolf to drive his sleigh, the last line of the lyrics says: “You will go down in history!” As you can see in the photo, Rudolf is at school and has just received his report card for the year. The first term shows Rudolf having a B+ in history, but by the second term (which is also the term with Christmas, (in most countries anyway)) his history grade has dropped to a D, ( which refers to a lyric “You’re going to go down in history” (which he did.)
