I teach three children in a Sunday school class. I try to think of cheap ways to give snacks each week. So I decided that for the drinks, I would just make a pot of kool-aid… If there was any left, we would just save it for next week since there are only four of us.

I have daycare outside my home. Some kids like kool help but don’t drink enough to use it so I’ve had it in my fridge for at least a week, even 2 and no complaints after the 2nd week the taste was really flat.

After a week the flavor will start to fade, but you can freeze the leftover koolaid in ice cube trays and use them for the next few weeks so regular ice cubes won’t dilute it. They are also perfect as a dessert, my kids love the koolaid ice cubes!
