I get a puppy and I’m told it’s a dog-chihuahua mix. They are now 8 weeks old and quite small, maybe about 1 foot long including the tail. I looked all over the internet for pictures and couldn’t find anything. Nobody knows?

Sounds like you’re getting great advice and I don’t think I can help you any more than they do, but I wanted to encourage you. We have a Black Lab/Pit Bull mix that weighs about 50 pounds now and a 16 pound dog. Both are 7 months old. We were worried when we first introduced them because one was so much bigger than the other, but they worked well. Both are dominant personalities so they are constantly trying to get that alpha point and neither of them will give up, but they both see me as the alpha of the house. Bandit is so big he’ll throw Pepper like a rag doll and roll him on the floor but Pepper is like a puppy or something and will growl and bark and get in his face if he doesn’t like something thing. , then we learn that Pep can defend himself. It’s just raising mutts on mutts. A “c̫o̫ςκapoo” is already a pooch. A mix between two or more breeds is equal to MUTT. So it’s quite unpredictable.

There are at least three different breeds of this pooch!! Who knows how big it will be. There is nothing predictable about a mix, in terms of size or temperament. Unless you are buying this dog from a shelter, you are supporting a greedy and irresponsible backyard breeder who is only in it for the money. They are neglectful at best, disgustingly selfish at worst. DO NOT support a backyard breeder! This only encourages them to craft more mutts that will end up being killed in shelters. 4 million per year.

It’s a dog. Co̫ςκapoos are pooches, and that’s even more true with Chihuahuas. So anywhere from Chihuahua to Co̫ςκer Spaniel to Poodle.
You won’t get straight answers because of the pooches… well, there’s no breed standard, so nothing to compare. No two pooches are the same.
