Find outlier of data set 3.1, 5.3, 4.3, 0.7, 5.6, 5.2, 5.8, 5.4

answer 2

0.7 Walkthrough: An outlier of the data set is the data point which is quite different from the rest of the data points or we can say they are outside the other points. As in the given data, similar data points range from 3.1 to 5.8, all points are almost in the middle of this range, but 0.7 is the only point that is not in this range. Therefore, 0.7 is the outlier of the given data set. We can also find the outlier by sorting the data set from smallest to largest i.e. if we sort 3.1, 5.3, 4.3, 0.7, 5.6, 5.2, 5.8, 5.4 from the value the lower to the highest value which is 0.7, 3.1, 4.3 , 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.6, 5.8, we see that there is a big change in the median value from 0.7 to 3.1 compared to the rest of the values. The median of 0.7 and 3.1 is = , while the median of the rest of the data points is almost the same. The outlier will therefore be 0.7.

0.7 is the answer and please accept my friend request

answer 4

Low outlier = Q1 – 1.5(IQR) High outlier = Q3 + 1.5(IQR)

Answer 5

The organized data element is 0.7, 3.1, 4.3, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.6, 5.8 Of the data, 0.7 is much smaller than other data elements.
