Did Jesus use g ɾąքҽ juice or wine?

Some clerics claim that the wine in the memorial chalice was unfermented gɾąքҽ juice. How can we prove that Christ used real wine on this occasion?

Answer 1

Well, since Jesus said they called him a wine drinker (drunken), then I would say it was wine.

answer 2

It cannot be wine, because Jesus cannot/did not lie. 1 Peter 2:22.

He said he would not drink ‘this product of the vine’…until he reached the Kingdom of God, and the next day when he died he drank wine. That proves it wasn’t wine. Luke 22:17, John 19:29,30.

And consider that the unleavened bread represented your sinless body, so just g ɾąքҽ the juice would represent your sinless blood, not the fermented wine.

answer 3

You can be sure it was wine. If any liquids remained for more than a day during the day of Jesus, they would be undrinkable and could kill you. Even pure water was almost unsuitable. That’s why Paul told Timothy to “add a little wine to the water” so that the alcohol kills bacteria and germs.
At that time in history – EVERYONE drank wine and beer (mead), but it wasn’t like the wine we have today. It was very, very smooth. Little children drank like they do today in Europe.

answer 4

It was wine. Ancient wines did not have the quality that people have grown accustomed to in modern times. They were thick and sweet and had to be seasoned just to make them palatable.
Many places in the Bible warn against drunkenness, you don’t get drunk with gɾąքҽ juice. Overall, biblical literature shows an ambivalence toward intoxicating beverages, viewing them as both a blessing from God that brings joy and joy and potentially dangerous beverages that can be misused in reckless and sinful ways.

Answer 5

Wine was the common drink of the day. Everyone, including Jesus, drank. His first miracle was to provide wine for a wedding feast. If he so freely provided wine in volume on this occasion, why would he avoid using wine in the institution of the Eucharist?

Answer 6

The writing on the story conveys that good wine is brought first and cheap last, etc. Clearly this does not describe juice and it also implies that bad wine is brought after people get drunk. God bless you.

Answer 7

We cannot prove it. He just says he turned water into wine, he doesn’t say g ɾąքҽ jus. Drinking wine is good, it’s the getting drunk part that’s bad.

Answer 8

This is what wine was made from gɾąքҽ juice and NOT alcohol. Christians simply use this verse as an excuse to drink.

It’s funny how people DOWNLOAD THE TRUTH. lololololol

Answer 9

He used wine. The Bible said yes.

It was customary in those days to drink wine, not gɾąքҽ juice, no matter what my grandmother, a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union (WCTU), says.

Answer 10

He used wine at the Last Supper and made wine at the wedding feast. How can we prove this? The Bible says yes, it’s good enough for me.
