Are thrift store clothes already washed?
answer 3
No they are not. These places go through so many clothes that they don’t have the time or the manpower to wonder if something is clean or not. Also, you should always wash anything you buy anyway, whether it’s new from a department store or used from a thrift store. Not sure what skin irritants might be in the articles or who has experienced them.

Answer 5
Clothes from thrift stores are only washed if the people who donated them have washed them before bringing them. so the answer is maybe.
I would say just wash them before using them. I found a Bannana jacket a few days ago for $6. I still had the little packets that cleaned the pokets and they still had the tags.
sometimes the price is right. wash it as a rule, but it’s worth it, especially if you’re on a tight budget.
Good luck
Answer 1
I work for Savers and no, we don’t wash the clothes we buy from our charity partners. We hope, as someone mentioned above, that those donating will wash their clothes first, but it’s best to be on the safe side and wash anything you buy from any store deals before using it.
All sorting, pricing and labeling takes place at the back of our stores when the garments are delivered to us by one of our many non-profit partners.
Good luck with your scavenger hunt in Savers
