I do not know…. Please help me explain these things. I really want to understand this.
Answer 1
first take moles of solute (NH3)
molality = moles of solute / kg of solvent
0.250 m = mol NH3/0.475 kg
mole NH3 = 0.11875
calculate weight of solute from moles
(0.11875 mol) (17.04 g/mol) = 2.0235 g
answer 2
*475g(1kg/1000g)= 0.475kg *molar mass of NH3= 17.03g/mol
*molality = mol solute/kg of solvent
=> 0.250= x/0.475kg => (0.475).250= 0.119 mol
0.119mol(17.03g/1mol) = 2.03g NH3
